The Torsion Control System® allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle within its physiological limits, preventing excessive torsion and the risk of joint fracture. The CARBON TECH Torsion Control System® is an evolution of the T.C.S.® system featuring the introduction of carbon fibre. Its main advantages are a reduction in the overall weight of the boot, greater mechanical control of the ankle and leg and improved resistance in the event of impact. The new upper joint also improves boot flexibility, increases shin and calf protection and ensures more precise control of lateral and longitudinal ankle movement.
The Metatarsal Control System® has a polyurethane structure with a flexion point in the metatarsal area that adheres more fully to the foot and gives give the freedom of movement needed for riding, while guaranteeing maximum protection in the event of an accident. The system has been designed to control metatarsal flexion upwards and downwards with two stopping points designed to prevent damage to the joints.
The concept of safety is further emphasised by an internal polyurethane structure connected to the M.C.S.® system to cover the side of the foot, offering maximum protection in case of impact.
Through this boot adjustment system the TCX® Centre for Research and Development has found the perfect solution for granting every rider excellent comfort as the system is able to adapt to any foot shape. The system comprises an air chamber made from antibacterial, antiallergenic polyurethane that allows you to vary the volume through a pump inserted in the top part of the boot. The air chamber is divided into areas of differing thicknesses, designed to follow the shape of the instep and shank in the best possible way once inflated. Therefore, using this pump it is possible to gradually inflate the air chamber, adjusting pressure on the foot and therefore optimising the fit. Finally, a brass and steel air valve allows fine adjustment and full deflation of the air chamber to make it easier to pull the boot off when you have finished using it.
This fine material has important features such as long-term waterproofing capacity, excellent resistance to the most extreme temperatures and high resistance to wear and tear. The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX® fabric in expanded PTFE contains around 1.4 thousand million microscopic pores per square centimetre. These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapour. So while water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane in liquid form, sweat (water vapour) can easily evaporate. This results is a completely waterproof barrier that means the boot can be used in all climates, guaranteeing maximum comfort and optimal breathability.

Comfort Fit System, developed as a result of years of TCX® know-how, has always been one of the strong points of touring products. This special and virtually entirely manual technique allows the boot to be shaped on a “mould” that faithfully reproduces the anatomy of the foot, making the product exceptionally comfortable and ideal for prolonged use in different situations.
The shape of the TCX® Lady range has been designed to perfectly fit the anatomy of the female foot, which is structurally different from the male foot, especially in the metatarsal area, where it is thinner with a more accentuated instep area and a generally smaller heel.
This exclusive technology has been developed by the TCX R&D dept. for motorcycle use in the warmest seasons. It combines an upper made from highly breathable, wear resistant CORDURA® fabric with a felt layer and the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Footwear membrane to offer a superior degree of breathability and absolute waterproofness.

The new Double Flex Control System features a PU joint in the ankle area studied to improve front and rear flexibility of the leg. The system is attached to the boot with two lateral hidden screws at malleolus level. This special construction allows a front flexibility of up to 18 degrees and, thanks to two lugs that slide inside dedicated pockets, it allows a rear flexibility of up to 15 degrees, thus avoiding back overextension of the ankle joint and protecting the riders™ foot from injuries.
