Its been a busy couple of weeks. last Tuesday we were in rapid City, SD and I was really excited to be there again. In practice we had some problems with my main bike and had to go to the B bike. With a month off I was ready to go racing again. Charlotte is one of my favorite track and was excited to get to the red clay. In practice the track was rough and choppy but I felt ok with my times. I ended up qualifying 4th and knew the track was going to get better so we didn’t change much with the bike. In my heat I got a terrible start and had to make up time and try not to get taken out. We have had almost a month off going into the next round of AMA Pro Flat Track in Charlotte, NC. I spent a lot of time training and thinking of how I was gonna make up the points I had lost from getting knocked down in Springfield while running third, blowing up my Kawi at Oklahoma mile, and a bad line choice at Lima half mile. I spent countless hours in the garage making sure my Honda 450 was absolutely perfect for this race.
