“Focus” on Ben Lowe
We’ve officially hit the midway point in the 2018 AFT season. To say that the season has been both a struggle and a learning experience would be an understatement, however, the program appears to be on an upswing. Last fall I started developing my KX450 and transforming it into a competitive flat track motorcycle. After running into problem after problem and not being able to get a respectable amount of horsepower out of the engines that is needed to run up front, I am not receiving the results out of the bikes that I would like to see.
Starting at the Weedsport Short Track in New York on July 7th, I will be switching to a 2018 Honda 450 in hopes to get back in the championship fight and battle for the top spot on the box. Going into the second half of the season, I’m optimistic for what the future holds, as I’ve performed strongly in the upcoming rounds in the past and am still sitting in a top 10 position for the championship hunt after all the hurdles we’ve come across. Thank you for your continued support of my program, as it has been immensely helpful in allowing me to do what I love every day.
