Kolby Carlile Season Update
The season isn’t even half over yet, and I am already in a better position now then I have ever been in my racing career. I am currently sitting 2nd in points only two points out of the lead coming off of two 3rd-place finishes in a row. Right now we have been on a stint of mile race tracks which I enjoy and have been continuously knocking off top five finishes.
My season saw the podium again for the first time since Daytona TT a few weeks ago at the Springfield TT. I was able to pick up a lot of points, and briefly take the points lead leaving there with a 3rd place finish. It was what I needed to get some extra momentum now that the season is going and I’m looking to grab the points lead and run with it.
Last weekend we went to the Red Mile in Lexington, KY. I was able to finish the race in a very close 4th place after a race long battle with other riders. After the race I moved up to 3rd place due to the leader being DQ’d.
Going forward into the rest of the season I am going to be using the all new TCX Boots RT-Race which I am super excited to try out. The boot is looking awesome and the performance is even better. Luckily for me there is only one more mile event for the singles class and then the rest of the season is all half miles, TT’s and short tracks. The smaller tracks work a lot better for myself being that I am a bigger rider.
My fitness is the best it has been in my life spending all my time training at the Team 95 compound in Kentucky. I’m having more fun right now then I ever have in my entire career. This is all gonna add up to a great year for myself and my team. Look for me the rest of the season running up front with the hair flowing out the back!
